The Amphitheater at Castlegar's Public Library is a lovely outdoor venue. With fresh lavender pouring over into the top row seating and being in close proximity to the water park it's an ideal summer-evening event for the family! Everyone and anyone is welcome to come up and give us a sqwuack! The stage has an outlet where we hook up our acoustic amp that we run a guitar and mic through. We welcome musicians to bring any instruments they require but we bring our equipment to share. We welcome all performing arts such as music, poetry, even acting or stand up comedy! Will be every Friday starting May 2015!

Crumbs Bakery Cafe in Castlegar is definitely the new hot spot. Having been open for only a year they have a loyal following and an outstanding reputation for quality products and great customer service. They provide an environment that really welcomes people to sit, relax and socialize. Being a German Artisan Bakery their most popular food item is not surprisingly their soft German pretzels. They also have amazing soups, salads and specialty beverages that make an awesome lunch. We started having music here in October 2014 on an every other Saturday rotation. We offer in exchange for 45 minute sets a beautiful lunch and other lovely bakery goodies. We have had musicians from all over from Nelson, to Fruitvale and even a special guest from the Okanagan! Music is 11:30 am - 1pm.

Venues where we host music in Castlegar. Currently music is free to attend at both of these places, however at Crumbs we encourage customers to donate to our musicians as a way to show our appreciation for the hard work that goes into their music and in exchange for their time!
